Tearing Me Up
DESIGN BRIEF
The goal of this design project was to create a logo type from a keyword within a song of our choice. I chose to create a logo for a the word tearing from the song “Tearing Me Up” by Bob Moses. The song is about tearing up a relationship so I explored different ways to portray the meaning of the word in the logo type with the slash through the word. Once we settled on a design we used a post modern grid to insert the lyrics onto the poster. We explored different colors and than did a second design working with type and image to come up with another poster that complimented the first one.
